ICN Annual Conference in Sydney, Australia

The 2015 International Competition Network (ICN) Conference started in Sydney, Australia on 28^th April, and will end on May 1st. Topics for discussion at the conference include competition advocacy, online vertical restraints and online geographic price discrimination.

The CEO of the Competition Authority, Mr. Thula Kaira, will speak at a session on online resale price maintenance. In his welcome message to delegates, the Chairman of the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, Mr. Rod Sims, said that the ICN has a diverse membership and its effectiveness is derived from working together on current and emerging issues.

He implored delegates to share ideas on how best to continue to promote competition for the benefit of businesses and consumers in view of dynamic domestic economies and growing global supply chains
