Competition Authority Open Day

The Competition Authority will hold an Open Day on Wednesday 2^nd December 2015. The Open Day will be held at the Competition Authority Offices from 08:30 to 13:00 Hours. The Open Day, which will be in the form of an exhibition, will see the various departments of the Competition Authority and the Competition Commission explain their operations and activities to members of the public.

The Departments of Mergers and Monopolies, Legal and Enforcement, Competition and Research Analysis, Communications and Advocacy, Corporate Services, CEO’s Office and the Competition Commission Office will have exhibition booths where they can be accessed to glean all and everything about the Authority and the Commission.

The press and other interested parties will have an opportunity to ask any questions about the Authority and the Commission.  The occasion would also be used to register anti-competitive complaints.

The open Day is part of the wider international festivities to observe the World Competition Day which is observed by consumer agencies, civil society and competition agencies on 5^th December each year. The theme this year is the continuation of the 2014 theme, “Competition Issues in Public Procurement”.
