TENDER NOTICE
TENDER NO: CA 042/2017-2018 PROVISION OF SERVICES FOR COLLECTION OF COMMERCIAL WASTE/REFUSE
1. The Competition Authority (CA) hereby invites Citizen Owned Companies which have the necessary background and the relevant experience in the tender for provision of services for collection of commercial waste/refuse at Competition Authority Office at Plot 28, Matsitama Road, Main Mall. Tenderers who are domiciled in Botswana must, in order to be considered for the tender, be registered with the Public Procurement and Disposal Board(PPADB) in the following categories
Code: 103 Collection and Disposal of Hazardous Material
Sub code: 02 Refuse Collection and Disposal Services
2. The scope and terms and conditions of the work are given in the Tender Documents. Tender Documents can be collected from the Competition Authority Office at Plot 28, Matsitama Road, Main Mall starting Monday 28th August 2017 upon payment of a non-refundable tender documentation and administration fee of P250.00 each payable to the Competition Authority.
3. A compulsory Site visit will be conducted on Thursday 7th September 2017 at 10:00 Hrs.
4. Tenders must be submitted in a format outlined in the Tender Documents and clearly indicate the tender name and the tender number as follows:

5. Closing Date: Tenders must be delivered by hand, courier or registered mail to the above address not later than Thursday 21st September 2017 at 11:30 Hrs.
6. Tender Opening: Tenders received by closing date and time indicated above shall be opened immediately after 11:30 hours at the Competition Authority Offices.
7. Tenders will be opened in the presence of tenderers wishing to attend.
8. Tenders received after the closing date and time will not be considered. Furthermore, telephonic, telex, facsimile or electronic mail submissions will also not be considered.
9. Notwithstanding anything in the foregoing, the Competition Authority is not bound to accept the lowest or highest tender, nor incur expenses to the preparation thereof.
