ICPEN Members Meet in Poland to Discuss Consumer Issues

Consumer protection enforcement regulators and other invited guests are meeting in Warsaw, Poland for the International Consumer Protection Enforcement Network (ICPEN) conference.

The three-day conference is hosted by the Polish Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKIK), under the theme “Empowering Responsible Consumer Choices.” Attendance to the conference is both in-person and virtual. The objective is to empower responsible consumer choices and strengthen global cooperation among institutions protecting their rights.

The mandate of ICPEN is to share information about cross-border commercial activities that may affect consumer interests and to encourage international cooperation and collaboration among consumer law enforcement agencies.

Botswana, through the Competition and Consumer Authority, is a member of ICPEN.
